I had a vague memory of it during one campaign or another, but did not follow the story. After Taz's response, I had to look back into it. I saw right wing and left wing rags reporting on it, with nobody wanting to rule it one way or the other, including her home town newspaper, business insider, MSN, Scopes and some Africa Fact check that denied the rumor. But, The Time of India reports it confirmed the story talking to personal friends of hers, 3rd party quoting her, confirming. My understanding is records show she and both husbands lived together at times, and Elmi the supposed brother, does refer to her kids as nieces and nephew.

It must be something about the demographic make up of the voters in that district. I actually only know of her in association with "The Squad" a few years back when they were young loudmouths, pushing green new deal and we all wished they would shut up. I never trust the unusually loud and strange. These days, that sets me apart, as all the most popular in the news seem to be loud and strange. Nobody of consequence is into conservative stability anymore.
