Yes, because the MAJORITY of Americans would not tolerate a fascist, authoritarian like Donald Trump. And this is why, if Donald Trump runs for President again, he will lose, and by a much wider margin than he lost this time.
Donald Trump has never won an election. Not even the Republican nomination. He only received 44% of the votes in the primaries so fully 56% of Republicans wanted someone else. But Republicans have a "winner takes all" policy on delegates, so in the early going, Trump won all of the delegates with 15% of the vote. Democrats would have apportioned those delegates, and Trump wouldn't have run away with the nomination with such a low vote count.
Trump lost the popular vote in the 2016 election, but won the electoral college, mostly because Hillary's campaign was undermined by the Russian hacking of the DNC, and the FBI and Senate Investigations of her emails. In the 2018 Mid-Terms, he suffered one of the biggest popular vote defeats for a sitting President since the Great Depression, even after he campaigned vigorously asking voters to consider the election a referendum on his work so far. The vote was a resounding rejection of his agenda and his policies.
Trump lost the 2020 election in a landslide. With the economy crashed, 500,000 dead from covid, and racial tensions and unrest the worst since the 1960's, and international relations in a shambles, I seriously question how 74 million people could have possibly voted in favour of 4 more years of this nonsense.
The question Americans should be asking is why 74 million Americans voted FOR Donald Trump. Or did they Is the real reason why Trump is so convinced that Democrats cheated, because HE cheated to win the election and he figures the ONLY way Biden could have won is to have been a better cheater than he was????
Enquiring minds want to know.
