Why won't republican's (sic) (sic) be voted in???? Also why haven't they??
It takes extra effort to misspell one word two different ways. Leave it to a pretentious Democrat (but I repeat myself) to do just that.
President Trump is a Republican.
The U.S. Senate has 53 Republicans and 45 Democrats today.
so why, you didn't give me an answer , why don't republicans get voted in as mayors of most large cities??
I want to know?? Why in your mind don't they?? Is it that they don't run for mayors of the major cities??
Those who live in major cities lean left. So why? I think it is at least partially because people in these cities depend on big government for things like mass transportation and such.
Thomas Jefferson, though, had a great disdain for large cities and said it was rife with problematic issues within society.
Ethology studies back him up.

And as we look at cities today, which have become a death sentence for mass populations of people via a myriad of epidemics, and a place where minorities die by the truck loads every day with inner city violence, it's hard to argue.
San Diego
Social issues[edit]
Though a fiscally conservative Republican, Faulconer holds many socially moderate positions.
[59] Faulconer supports a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants who live in the United States.
[26] He also supports
same-sex marriage.
[60] In 2014, he participated in and supported LGBTQ
Pride Month.
[61] In 2019, the mayor met with San Diego community leaders to voice support and encourage the US Congress to vote for the
Equality Act to extend the Civil Rights Act to protect against discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
[62] As a part of his previously mentioned effort to address homelessness, Faulconer announced he was working with local faith leaders to provide shelter to LGBTQ homeless youth.
[63][64]
Mayor Faulconer has described himself as
pro-choice on the issue of abortion.
[65][66] Responding to protests against pro-life, or
anti-abortion, legislation, Faulconer made a statement saying that he would not restrict abortion rights in San Diego and would oppose movements to restrict abortion in California.

Look at Giuliani , he was pro illegal immigration and even protected them, he would of been what sanctuary cities are today.

That is what you have to be to be mayor of the diverse city, and most republicans are not cut out for it, so they don't run.
