For centuries there was no such conflict. In the 19th century the land of Palestine was inhabited by a multicultural population – approximately 86 percent Muslim, 10 percent Christian, and 4 percent Jewish – living in peace.[1]

Zionism​

In the late 1800s a group in Europe decided to colonize this land. Known as Zionists, they represented an extremist minority of the Jewish population. Their goal was to create a Jewish homeland, and they considered locations in Africa and the Americas, before settling on Palestine.[2]

At first, this immigration created no problems. However, as more and more Zionists immigrated to Palestine – many with the express wish of taking over the land for a Jewish state – the indigenous population became increasingly alarmed. Eventually, fighting broke out, with escalating waves of violence. Hitler's rise to power, combined with Zionist activities to sabotage efforts to place Jewish refugees in western countries[3], led to increased Jewish immigration to Palestine, and conflict grew.

Finally, in 1947 the United Nations decided to intervene. However, rather than adhering to the principle of “self-determination of peoples,” in which the people themselves create their own state and system of government, the UN chose to revert to the medieval strategy whereby an outside power divides up other people’s land. Under considerable Zionist pressure, the UN recommended giving away 55% of Palestine to a Jewish state – despite the fact that this group represented only about 30% of the total population, and owned under 7% of the land.[4]

The Israelis are not "exterminating" the old inhabitants.

They are pushing them out.

But they are still alive.

Now, if they nuked the place, or started carpet-bombing with neuro-toxin warheads, then THAT would be genocide.

Israel is the one-and-only home of the Jews on this planet.

The poor bastards deserve it after what the Euro-trash subjected them to in the 1940s.

Jews were buying-up land in the old Ottoman province of "Palestine" long before WWI.

And they continued to buy-up land throughout the WW1 and WW2 eras.

Until they had enough to consider fulfilling the old 1922 League of Nations proposal for the division of Palestine.

The Muslim-Arabs already HAVE their share - it's called "Jordan".

Once the Israelis have accomplished "Eretz Yisrael" - the completion of Greater Israel in that vision, they'll not need more.

The British promised the Jews a national homeland in former Palestine.

The League of Nations Mandate gave the British the legal authority to do just that.

And the Jews considered that promise to be binding - even after the British reversed themselves and tried to weasel-out.

The Jews made long-running and material reliance upon such promises and declarations.

When the British started to renege, the Jews (finally) took their fate in their own hands, and seized what was promised.

After 1,900 years, the Jews had finally rediscovered their collective identity and courage, and stood up for themselves again.

Muslims have massive amounts of land in the region.

The Jews want a tiny piece... a return to their spiritual (and even ethnic) motherland after a 1900-year-long Diaspora.

And if they have to displace a couple of million loser-Palestinians then so be it... but at least they'll be alive.

America did it to the Indians... Poles did it to Germans in East Prussia... Czechs did it to Germans in the Sudetenland.
