Well this is wonderul!!! Ultra liberal mayor of Ground Zero 9-11 city NY has now agreed to appoint a civilian to keep watch over the NYPD counter terror unit to ensure that no Muslims are spied on. To ensure race, religion and ethnicity are never a factor in trying to stop a terror attack.

This civilian is not and likely never was a cop of any kind or in the military. He says it will be a lawyer. Wonderful.

So...if NYC suffers another catastrophic terror attack....well....take some comfort in knowing that at least NYPD didn't spy on any Muslims trying to stop it.

So the far left mayor will appoint a far left drone to watch over the police and further hinder their efforts to be a police force..

The mayor might as well just disband the NYPD..

This is a program that even the NYPD didn't like. As it was the Police Commissioner himself that had already disbanded it. It made many in the NYPD very uncomfortable to put someone under surveillance for no other reason than they were Muslim.

If you've got probable cause, game on. But being Muslim isn't probable cause.
