So, here is a thread to place daily reflections, prayers, affirmations, etc. if anyone wants to. Not political, not "my faith vs your faith," no bitter atheists if you don't mind.

I'll start:

"It is the duty of every man to uphold the dignity of every woman." — Pope St. John Paul II

The greatest organizing principle known to man is virtue.

At any point in our lives we are the sum of our choices.

It is better to be curious rather than judgmental.

The greatest organizing principle known to man is virtue.
Perhaps that is why the Jews see our first sin in Eden as a success for man.
Original Virtues is what they concluded was our gain in Eden and Christians agree, sort of, when they sing of Adam's sin as a happy fault and required by God and his plan.

"Thus says the Lord: "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practice steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight, says the Lord." — Jeremiah 9:23-24

“"It is requisite for the relaxation of the mind that we make use, from time to time, of playful deeds and jokes."” -St. Thomas Aquinas

“"Be sure that you first preach by the way you live. If you do not, people will notice that you say one thing, but live otherwise, and your words will bring only cynical laughter and a derisive shake of the head."”-St. Charles Borromeo

"Scripture offers us a look at the fruits we can expect as we grow closer to God: charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, forbearance, gentleness, faith, modesty, self-control, and chastity. Cut off from him, we rely on our own well to refresh our souls rather than the un-depletable wellspring available to us as sons and daughters of our eternal Father. We cannot understand who we really are without reference to him who is both the cause and the purpose of our lives, physically and spiritually. We are called to communion with him and this is a process of continually conforming our will to his." –Carrie Gress and Noelle Mering, p.66

Morals are effectively standards and as such exist for logical reasons.

We cannot understand who we really are without reference to him who is both the cause and the purpose of our lives, physically and spiritually.

really, or is that a reference to their bibles of forgeries and fallacies proven by recorded history the persecution and victimization of the innocent by all three desert religions.

"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."-Philippians 4:6-7

“I see clearly with the interior eye, that the sweet God loves with a pure love the creature that He has created, and has a hatred for nothing but sin, which is more opposed to Him than can be thought or imagined.”-St. Catherine of Genoa

“Prayer is the best armor we have, it is the key which opens the heart of God.”-Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina

“"For me, prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward heaven, it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy."” -St. Therese of Lisieux

“"Grant me, O Lord my God, a mind to know you, a heart to seek you, wisdom to find you, conduct pleasing to you, faithful perseverance in waiting for you, and a hope of finally embracing you."”-St. Thomas Aquinas

"Always be impartial and just in your deeds. Put yourself into your neighbor’s place, and him in yours, and then you will judge fairly . . . Frequently, therefore, examine your heart, whether it is so disposed towards your neighbor, as you would have his disposed towards you, were you to change places; for this is the true test." —St. Francis de Sales, p. 226

you should not offer something valuable, sacred, or insightful to those who will not appreciate, understand, or value it, and may even disrespect or harm the giver in return.

“At each step we can admire the grandeur, the power, the goodness of God. How bountifully He provides for all our wants—I would even say for our pleasures!”-St. Theodore Guerin
