Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but why does it matter why a person takes their life? A hotline is needed no matter what reason anyone considers the act of suicide.

I've seen many celebrities do public service announcements for mental health issue, I'd be curious how many are paid to do so, I'd bet most all. Also just about every movie/show has some kind of mental health disclaimer, I wonder if those are government funded.
