I've been using them for 15 or more years. Never had a failure yet.

I am quite content with my dirt baths, thank you very much.

It does his coat and my skin so much good.

Do you hot mop over this, or is the liner all you needed for waterproofing?

I use paperbacked wire on metal studs,gray coat, and top with Diamondbrite. One day job

Never seal the top. You'll trap water between the layers and mold will grow. I do waterproof the top of the bench after it cures with rubber & heavy silicone

Done. Touch up lows and highs after it cures.

Then you should do some Quality Control and test out the tub before you leave.
