Cuomo Releases Cop Killer From Prison
1) Cuomo didn't release anybody, he shortened his sentence, which didn't release him from prison, it only made him eligible for parole.
2) Again Cuomo didn't release him, the parole board (talk to the current governor) released him.
3) The guy didn't actually kill a cop. It was the felony murder rule.

He did it before his resignation took effect. Somebody else started a thread on his release of murderers back in Aug. I just saw it today.Mohammed posted it. His parole was granted this week. It takes some time after getting a sentence commuted, 1-3 months. Parole wasn't possible without Cuomo's commutation.
Then all that needs done is for the present governor to rescind the order.
