Cue up Tax the Rich crowd

Many rich people would happily pay more in taxes but the tax laws don't provide for it. The best they can do to help the 'less fortunate' is make charitable donations.

If they paid more than they owe the IRS would issue a refund.

It would be a special transaction. No with annual filing. I once saw if you want "give" or something like that available.

Because the accountants know the tax laws, and their returns are complicated.

If I was that rich I sure wouldn't donate more money to the government.

The Plutes Can Kiss My Glutes

The moneybags don't pay any taxes that they don't get right back (and then some), because they own the businesses the government spends its money on.

As for charity, none of it is given to people with economically useful potential, which is never developed, because it's not financed the same way the Plutes, correctly but anti-socially, believe their no-talent sons need to be financed.
