Cruz: Senators who signed onto campaign finance amendment 'should be embarrassed'

Big money controls elections. The little guy has his right to vote.... but that too will be gone some day so only big money contributors get to vote. I say if one makes a lot of money they should not be allowed to vote. Try that one on.

only if you agree that anyone getting welfare should not be allowed to vote either...try that on for size...

Take into consideration all it would take to even run a campaign say for President,money to travel,money to pay your campaign workers,money to rent hotels,time off work etc,base support to even begin. I bet less than 100 people in America could bring EVERYTHING together they would need to run for president as a serious candidate.It would make it a hell of a lot more interesting to watch and participate in.

take into consideration how much power the press has....FUNNY how the Demonrats left out the press in this amendment when it came to limiting money for them....the media could spend all they wanted on newsprint and airtime for the candidates of their choice (and against those they disliked)...meanwhile everyone else would be limited in their spending....so all a sitting Congressman needed to do was get in bed with the press for an unfair advantage...it would make it even more difficult for the challengers to the sitting incumbents....
