Dude! Its chaos out here! Everybody's smokin' dope and going on rampages to order pizza and buy Doritos! There are violent potheads sitting on their couches or playing guitar in rock bands! Look out! People are having religious experiences hiking in the mountains and skiing and not in church! Aaaaaaah! Maniacal laughing while watching Family Guy is surely Satanism and nihilism!

Or everything is just the same except better funding for schools, closing government deficits, less people in jail or clogging the court system on possession charges, and cops better able to focus on real crime.

One of those scenarios is the more accurate.
