I find it hard to see how collective punishment is justifiable at times. For example, when one man sinned, he brought sin on the whole world.

But we see this everywhere else. If you have paid your car insurance or home insurance, you will see that it is no longer affordable. Why is it not affordable? It is because humanity has corrupt buffoons in government who have caused worldwide massive inflation that you never voted for along with halfwits living in areas like California that are high risk for calamity that you are also paying for.

The corruption and stupidity of mankind is at such a rapid race, there is no way to keep up with it all as it drags you down along with the collective as we all spiral the drain downward.

But some people embrace the collective as many are in love with such things as socialism. They simply can't get enough of paying for the stupidity of others and insist that you pay even more.

I just don't get it.

It is interesting that in Genesis 18:16-33, we see Abraham plead with God to spare the wicked city of Sodom from destruction. Abraham seems to have similar feeling that I do which is not to punish everyone for the collective if they are not part of the problem. And on some level, God seems to agree.

16 When the men got up to leave, they looked down toward Sodom, and Abraham walked along with them to see them on their way. 17 Then the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? 18 Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him. 19 For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

20 Then the Lord said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous 21 that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know.”

22 The men turned away and went toward Sodom, but Abraham remained standing before the Lord. 23 Then Abraham approached him and said: “Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked? 24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it? 25 Far be it from you to do such a thing—to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

26 The Lord said, “If I find fifty righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.”

27 Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, 28 what if the number of the righteous is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five people?”

“If I find forty-five there,” he said, “I will not destroy it.”

29 Once again he spoke to him, “What if only forty are found there?”

He said, “For the sake of forty, I will not do it.”

30 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?”

He answered, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

31 Abraham said, “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, what if only twenty can be found there?”

He said, “For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it.”

32 Then he said, “May the Lord not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?”

He answered, “For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it.”

33 When the Lord had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.

It's all about being rich is all it is. That alone tells you this is not a Christian nation.

The Bible says Abraham was a rich man. Do you categorize him in the same manner as you do the health care CEO that was gunned down that you Left wingers celebrated? Or would you categorize him like you do Trump whom you also tried to assassinate?

Would Abraham make a good Christian or does Karl Marx only fit the description in your view even though he said that the belief in God was the opioid of the masses?

It is interesting that in the first verse, God says he will use Abraham to give the world a collective blessing.

How was Abraham, or his descendants, a blessing to the rest of the world?

I think that the Left views rich folk as parasites, unless they run their socialist government, in which case they can do as they please and make as much as they please and turn down people for Medicare as much as they please, because they run the show that they endorse.

In fact, what is behind the worldwide antisemitism we see today and in centuries past? I think it largely has to do with the fact that "God's chosen people" tend to be wealthy. But when others see this, they get jealous, hence the persecution. It reminds me of historical accounts of Jews being expelled from entire countries. But the funny thing is, once the Jews were expelled, the economies of the countries they left suffered horribly.

So instead of seeing the Jews as parasitical, they should have been seen as a blessing

And to this day, the Jewish people are at the top of the socioeconomic ladder of pretty much any country they reside in.

This is why there are so many conspiracies and ill will towards them. It simply does not make sense, especially since they have been and continue to be so persecuted. With Blacks, for example, we all accept that persecution brings economic hardship for a people, but with Jews, it is the polar opposite.

Why? Seems to me that their is a super natural element in the mix.

Speaking of collective blessing, that is, the world being blessed through Abraham, has anyone checked to see how many Jews have won a Nobel Prize?

Pretty good for a people with a world population of 0.2%.

Again, why?

Is the world a better place because of the descendants of Abraham like the Bible claims?

Yes, or no?

Many who hate Jews would say no, but ask them what country they would rather live in if they had to live in the Middle East, and hands down Israel would be the place to go for the most freedom.
