Are there any examples of companies, factories, large employers where the workers engage in collective bargaining for universal contracts, without being Union members?

Well that's stupid. Workers should be able to collectively bargain for the good of all employees without having to join a national union.

They are "able" to. No laws against it.

Generally they don't have the resources to do it without the help of a national union.

if a Company offers good pay and Benefits and working conditions and treats their employees like they appreciate the work they do....there would be no need for a Union...
