CNN's Hunt Notes 'Massive Failure' by Secret Service

Silences Talk of Possible 'Inside Job'

14 Jul 2024 ~~ By Mark Finkelstein

On CNN this morning, host Kasie Hunt described the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in blunt, truthful terms as:
"A massive failure by the Secret Service."
Moments later, when panelist Elliott Williams, in the context of a discussion of unverified information on social media, made mention of people floating the notion of an "inside job," Hunt shut him down, saying:
"We don't want to get into that."
Hunt might well have valid journalistic reasons for shutting down speculation about an inside job.
Although it was not as if the person who raised it, Elliott Williams, did so to lend credence to the notion. To the contrary, Williams, a CNN analyst, is a former Obama DoJ official. He mentioned "inside job" in the context of criticizing unverified information on social media.

Commentary:
After all the rallies indoors and out, that Trump has held over all these years, and with the massive number of people who have attended each and every one of them, that something like this should happen within a day of the Republican National Convention kicking off, is not a coincidence. There is no such thing as coincidences.
The fact that the FBI asked to use deadly physical force at Mar-a-lago had the chance arisen, speaks loudly here.
Democrat Neo-Marxists clearly have murder/assassination on their mind. It's their one last hope to get rid of the man once and for all. Two impeachments that failed to remove Trump, fake lawsuits, numerous fake criminal charges, prosecutions and persecution, now a failed assassination attempt. Yep probably all coincidences.
A massive failure is an understatement
Dear Lying Quisling Media, please explain why a roof top, with ladder access, less than 150 yards from the top 10 highest value targets in the world, had clear line of sight to both the stage and the egress route to the exit car, left unguarded and uncovered?
That is, at the very least, pure reckless incompetence verging on the criminal.
This was either gross incompetence or inside jobby Democrat Neo-Marxists. Pick one.
That is, unless someone can come up with a different plausible explanation.

If the FBI sniper was in a position to take out the assassin why did he get several shots off? Why could the spectators see the guy but the Secret Service and the FBI couldn't? With all the technology available to the FBI why can't they get into the guy's cell phone? Maybe they want to erase stuff.

Yes, where were the drones they use as well? Looks like the FBI/SS did not use enough assets.

Turns out the local cops failed worse than anyone

People pointed out the gunman and a cop confronted him and then retreated… apparently without sounding the alarm

So, CNN is in on it! Surprised MAGA didn’t see that coming. Why are they being so quick about quelling talk of an inside job? There’s hardly been time for a proper investigation.

Looks more like a failure by the rapidly ruby-red local police.

Why has the right turned on Trump?

Kindly crawl back under the rock you slithered from for the next 50 years

If the FBI sniper was in a position to take out the assassin why did he get several shots off?
Because the snipers didn't see him, due to a tree partially blocking the view.
Why could the spectators see the guy but the Secret Service and the FBI couldn't?
Because they were in different spots. Do I really need to explain that?

With all the technology available to the FBI why can't they get into the guy's cell phone? Maybe they want to erase stuff.
Where did this rumor come from?

^^ LOL look at these assclowns, still trying to blame Republicans for the assassination attempt.

Local police aren’t in charge of protecting the President, former Presidents, or candidates.

These shitbag liberals are really showing their true colors!

Well, given that a Republican gun cultist was the shooter, and the Republicans have spent the last 10 years frothing that violence is good, that is what any non-retard would do.

Hence you do the opposite.

Local police aren’t in charge of protecting the President, former Presidents, or candidates.
Of course they play a part. Just how stupid are you?

No need to answer. Rhetorical question. You're a Trump cultist, after all.

I'll bet it had nothing to do with politics. Just a coincidence that Trump held a rally near where this guy lived and he saw an opportunity to make a name for himself. Perhaps he wanted taken out.
