CNN, the network that spent the majority of its airtime attacking President Donald Trump at every turn throughout his presidency, appears to have shifted direction, if the sentiment of their panel on Alvin Bragg‘s Case against Trump is anything to go by.
On Thursday, a panel of CNN analysts agreed that the Manhattan case against Trump is all but doomed due to the lack of evidence.
David Chalian told his colleagues, “I’ve seen precious little evidence presented yet that Trump wasn’t floating above.”

Evidence, Crime? Pfffft. Who needs that? Did this all slip past a grand jury?
We all know about Jury Nullification, but can a jury make up laws? Usually a law carries fines and/or punishment. What guidance will Judge Merchan use?
It appears that the testimony of Hope Hicks and Davidson have torpedoed Alvin Braggs' case.
Meanwhile, down in Fulton County, Fani Willis is sinking deeper into the quicksand.
She was hit with a civil RICO lawsuit by an African-American Republican Mesha Mainor, a member of the Georgia House of Representatives.
Mesha Mainor switched to the Republican party, and ever since has been stalked by a man named Corwin Monson, who seems to have some connection to Fani Willis and her claque.
The story is quite complex, and has the potential to do explosive damage to Fani Willis.

One of the more interesting aspects of this matter is the sensational treatment by major Media outlets of perfectly ordinary testimony. Hope Hicks reports that the Trump team was upset about the publication of the pussy-grabbing tape.

Really? This is news? This is shocking? This has anything to do with the "case" against Trump?

And again, we are a several months into this "story" and a couple weeks into the trial, and NOBODY has articulated what the crime is for which Trump is being tried. Fucking someone who is not your spouse is not a crime (and it is disputed in any event). Paying someone to remain quiet is not a crime. Even if the "hush money" was reported as a campaign expense, (a) that is a summary offense, punishable by a fine, and (b) NY State has no jurisdiction to prosecute it.

In a way, it is helpful to Trump that this - possibly the most absurd of the absurd cases against Trump - is being tried first, which reinforces his constant claims that they are all partisan bullshit.

And again, we are a several months into this "story" and a couple weeks into the trial, and NOBODY has articulated what the crime is for which Trump is being tried.

Well the crime he is charged with is falsifying business records, and in 2 weeks of witness testimony not one witness has even been questioned about any of the records that were supposedly falsified.

There were no business records relating to AMI at all. Pecker's testimony was completely irrelevant to any falsification or records. The same with the porn lawyer and Hicks. They had no knowledge of, and no role in creating any Trump business records.

We have 2 weeks of testimony attempting to portray a legal NDA as a misdemeanor conspiracy that was never charged, and can't be charged today because it's time-barred by a two-year statute of limitations.

This is obviously a case that would never have been brought if the defendant was anyone besides Trump.
