you don't know how right you are. Terry gave felons the right to vote the last time he was governor

McAuliffe will likely win

IDK. He seriously underperformed his polling the first time against Ken Cuccinelli who was perhaps the most loathsome party nominee in the history of Virginia. Youngkin has put a lot of his own money in the race so far so he likely could buy as much as he needs in the final stretch this fall. Younkin also is running on a pro-business platform as opposed to Cuccinelli's Liberty University/Religious Zealotry platform last time. It also doesn't help that Northam has seriously lost his new car smell. Virginians as a whole tend to fall on the conservative side of moderate. If TM goes social justice warrior, he is toast; if GY goes down the MAGA rabbit hole, he is toast.

I give it a too early too close to call at this point.

The vote will come in from downstate, then Fairfax County will have an oh-so convenient "glitch" with the counting that will delay their reporting of returns.

Mark it down.

We'll see. This is going to be an odd election anyway. Virginia has to complete redistricting this year. It is going to be hard for Terry Mc to stay out of the YOU ARE RACISTS!!!! ditch. Biden also has a hard on for gun control and even the democrats in Virginia hearts them some guns. It is the only thing Northam hasn't been able to get any traction on while having both chambers of the General Assembly in his party's hands.
