Islam is an offshoot of christianity. Do you understand this? Allah the Arabic name for god.
And by hating on LBGT people you're proving you're the same.
Islam is not an 'offshoot' of Christianity. Not sure where you got that from, but no.
Prior to Muhammad in 500s CE, the area of Arabia was dominated by a paganism, and polytheism. There were many many 'gods' worshiped by the people. Shrines and temples, were usually built for a host of different 'gods'.
When Muhammad crawled out of his cave, with his beliefs, he went to one of the shrines and knocked down all of the 'gods' there except for one. Allah. Prior to Muhammad, Allah was one of many 'gods', and Allah was the 'god' of the moon. Muhammad said, there is no other 'god' but Allah, and Allah is now the word for 'god'.
If you doubt what I am saying, just look at the symbol for Islam... which is?

The crescent moon. And their largest and most well known holy observance.... Ramadan, is based on the lunar year. They are so dedicated to the moon, that their fasting for a month, is exactly 29 or 30 day, exclusively dependent on when they see the crescent moon.
Now it's true that beyond this, Muhammad incorporated into his teachings, many aspects of Judaism, and Christianity. I'll grant you that. But the fundamental basis of his beliefs, were not based on either.
Saying Islam is an offshoot of Christianity, is about as true as saying an airplane is an offshoot of a dune buggy, because both use electricity and burn fuel.
They are not the same. Not even close.
They don't believe Jesus was even killed, or that he was G-d, or that he was divine, or that he was raised from the dead. Since at the very core of Christian teaching, is Jesus being the Christ.... hence 'Christianity'.... for them to deny Jesus, basically renders all of Christianity false. That's a heck of an offshoot.
That's like saying Vegetarian Awareness Club is an offshoot of the National Vegan Society.... the only difference is they believe it's fine to eat meat.
That's one heck of an offshoot.
