Chinese government-owned companies (which is all of them) can only function if demand from the US remains high. They need us a lot more than we need them.

The tariffs are having the desired effect of causing American companies to import goods and materials from other, friendlier countries, and China is being left out in the cold.

When has the left been on the right/correct side of anything for a very long time now? The things they support or at least refuse to criticize/condemn are unconscionable to those who are savvy enough to know what is happening in this country.

And what they are criticizing and condemning is everything that is good that is happening.

In their defense, Trump has explained what China has been doing to our manufacturing, jobs, currency etc. and why these tariffs are necessary to correct China's behavior that is damaging and weakening the USA. But he hasn't explained it in a way that the more stupid/brainwashed can understand apparently.

It is very complex and not something the average American usually thinks about much.

But if Trump can turn that around with his America First MAGA agenda, he will have demonstrated his genius in this area more than in any other. And that, along with closing the border to illegal migrants that he has already done, will likely be his more important accomplishment as President.

The Leftists know if Trump succeeds, they are politically cooked for a decade. It is exactly why they did what they did in his 1st term. Virtually everything was coming up roses until COVID hit, which is the ONLY reason the Left had a chance in 2020. Remember how they all proclaimed that if you suggested it was the China virus, you were a RACIST! Yeah, now look!

Do you remember how the BLUE STATES remained closed until the middle of the 2nd quarter so as it looked like the whole Trump economy was collapsing? And then, when it was to late to show on the balance sheet before the election, opened it up, and proclaimed the economic surge was due to Biden, and ALL THE NEW JOBS, which were NOT new jobs, just people returning to work in blue states?
