China is the way it is because the billionaire investment class wanted it that way along with republicans bent on destroying union membership in America. Yes you are probably correct. The US has never defaulted on a single bond since the federal reserve system was enacted but Republicans with their misunderstanding of the nature of the debt and their budget hostage tactics they may just change that.
