Well don't get me wrong, my wife and I are both excellent cooks. My chicken florentine would make you drool all over yourself. But with me working and both of us having busy lives, the only home-cooked meals I get are the ones she has ready for me when I get off of work.
Other than that, it's a 5AM breakfast of a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit slathered down with Tabasco sauce and Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing from the country store up the road, washed down with a Monster energy drink. This I've done just about every morning since the 2020 pandemic.
Because of the time constraints of work, I've also grown rather fond of "astronaut food" that I get at the Amish dent and bent store for pennies on the dollar. Never mind the state of California cancer warnings on the package.
I'm 75 years old. so It's too late to worry about that shit.
