Chicago Islamic scholar Mohammad Nusairat said in a November 14, 2025 lecture that Islam is not meant to coexist with other religions, explaining: “Islam is raised high, and nothing is raised above Islam.” He said that Islam is not a religion among other religions that have a share of truth, justice, and correct worship of Allah, and he asserted that Islam has come to correct all of that and “remove the oppression of all those religions.” He added: “It is the only truth, and it is the only way to justice.”
The video was posted on the YouTube channels of Men of the Ummah, a Chicago-based organization “dedicated to cultivating Muslim men,” and the associated Noon Islamic Center, located in Hoffman Estates, IL. It is worth noting that several speakers at the Men of the Ummah events and the Noon Islamic Center are associated with Hizb ut-Tahrir.
