Channel migrants are in line for millions of pounds in compensation from the Home Office for being “unlawfully” detained in “inhumane” conditions.
Almost 200 asylum seekers have lodged legal claims for their unlawful detention and mistreatment by the Home Office at the Manston migrant holding centre near Dover, citing the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

What a complete joke, but there again, it is Labour. What a shambles. Labour are void of ability.

If you don't fix this, fast, you won't have a country left.

Just need Farage in to get us out of the ECHR. At this rate, Labour will have Brits evicted and their houses given to migrants. We all said Labour was gonna be a shit show, I didn't realise how fast and how bad.

I was reading an article about making the English countryside less white and getting rid of the pub culture. Not that I know what the pub culture is. But it has to be better than halal butcher shops.

I think at one point, 4 pubs per day were closing, but over 2025 it's been around 1 per day.

England has always been a remarkable place with a brilliant and rich history. Why is this happening?
Parliament. Britain got to where it was due to an absolute monarchy, and ever since, it's been sliding downhill.

Isn't the monarchy more of a PR zone. It seems, just from looking in, that, like the US voting in politicians that put foreign interests above British interests was the start of British woes.

They're just now constitutional, so they just rubber stamp what parliament wants.

Politicians are the reason why civil unrest and civil wars kick off. At the moment wherever I drive, more and more lamp posts and bridges are getting covered in the St. George Cross and Union Jack flags. I saw a Scottish flag on a bridge at Annan, but that disappeared quite quickly, probably the council.

There will always be an England. I just hope it is England.

England, France and Germany are all in deep economic and military decline.

All rejected replacement alternatives that were promoting important reversals of poor policies.

We will see how this all pans out for the EU. Canada also has major issues but we have some "conservatives" sprinkled in. Like Europe, our conservatives lack libertarianism are thus never popular for too long. Citizens inherently reject and resist those who push central control

Military spending went up.

Not to the level you had in 1989 and 1990. When the wall fell, everyone let their guard down and people promoted the idea that war would never happen again, it would be 2000 years of American power.

The West was outflanked by Chinese and Russian spy agencies. The MSS in particular have been and continue to outsmart the West with ease focusing on compromising international agencies and global politicians, wittingly or unwittingly.

Don't you worry.

American power removed the Taliban to replace them with...........the Taliban.

What did your Tory friends do about the boats for 14 years? they started housing them in Hotels to start with, and i know why because keeping them in Hotels is good for profits for those Tory owners and Donors of those Hotels who get the Government contracts, i thought you were a big supporter of Entrepreneurship?

You’d go to the ends of the earth for avoidance and deflection, wouldn’t you?
