At this point, Israel is best served by getting their citizens back and attempting to seek long term peace, it won't be an easy negotiation though. Ultimately, they will not allow Hamas to rule Palestine after this war is over, but they may have to give them temporary freedom in a neighbouring country who will accept them.

Just as when Bush, Obama and other presidents sanctioned justice against those terrorists who killed Americans , Bibi and anyone who follows him will direct the same justice for those who killed Israeli citizens.

Didn't watch video, but know people are whining about Israel giving up terrorist. Israel is known for releasing terrorist for hostages in greatly unequal #'s, and they've already released hundreds of terrorist in previous hostage releases. So not sure why people think this is something new.
Also I read the terrorist aren't being freed but instead turned over to another country.
Is it a bad deal, name a good deal made with a terrorist organization?

I'm glad that the hostages are to be released. However, I don't agree with the piecemeal release nor the 10 to 1 ratio of hostages to Palestinian criminals. WTF.

Because what does that tell you about the value each side assigns to human beings? One or two terrorists per hostage won't do Hamas any good. They need large numbers of terrorists to carry out their next October 7th. The Israelis value their people's lives, Hamas does not. Hamas bargains hard and wonders why the Israeli government cares so much about people who are not even trained to kill its enemies.

Of course, if Hamas valued Palestinian lives, they would surrender unconditionally so that Israel can safely stop the killing in Gaza.

I think sneak attacks don't just demand the death of the planners and perpetrators but that of their entire family. Until that sort of penalty is exacted, these events will continue to happen.
