CBS was just forced to admit they can’t find ANY illegals at the “heavily fortified” southern border

You should be even more fair and admit that Trump selfishly sank the bi-partisan Deport-More border bill because his interest for election was chaos at the border.
Biden and the Democrats said they had to have that bill because it was the ONLY way we could control the border which was an obvious lie because Trump has controlled the border in a matter of weeks without any legislation AT ALL!

He sank it because it allowed 5,000 illegals into the country PER DAY! Why would ANYONE have supported a border bill that didn't close the border? Duh?
Idiot it shutdown all the legally required asylum process if border is getting overwhelmed like it was for all of 2023.

If it was in place everyone at the border would be straight rejected/deported without any processing so long as border remained above manageable levels. There was no “allowing” anything in the bill.

Compared to INFINITY that was status quo it was a big improvement that guaranteed order.

There was no downside and “allowing” anything.
It didn't shut down anything until we hit 5,000 coming across the border. It was an awful bill.

Biden and the Democrats said they had to have that bill
Republicans said it too, bullshit peddler. Especially the Republican that literally co-wrote it and was on the floor of the Congress everyday dispelling Trumptard bullshit about the bill you are posting here.

what "deport - more border bill?"

what "deport - more border bill?"
The one that would deport more, co-written by a Republican. The one Biden commited to signing.

No, doesn't ring any bells dummy?

We had a million additional people that came into the country in 2024 that would not have been in the country, if we would have passed that bill,' - Republican Sen. James Lankford

Oklahoma senator said Trump wouldn’t need to play so much "catch-up ball" if the bipartisan border bill was passed under President Joe Biden’s administration.

Anyone who thinks Trump torpedoing that border bill was done in good faith doesn't know up from down.

Does anyone wish that bill had passed and that Kamala was president and could legally allow entry for 5000 illegal aliens per day, meaning 1.8 million illegals per year and not be required to do anything about it?

Yes, or no, then explain all you like.

Thats NOT WHAT WAS IN THE BILL.

Stop spreading these stupid lies, because by same measure "allowed entry" in absense of the bill is INFINITE

There are zero allowances in the bill, only LIMITATIONS on assylum aplication process required by law.

The limitation of no more than five thousand asylum applicants means that up to 5000 asylum applicants are allowed. How stupid do you think people are to make an argument like that?

That is 5000 un vetted, completely unknown, no papers aliens, most of them will never show up to their asylum, hearing, per day. Hard to believe that only a few months ago Biden was actually allowing more than that, making 5000 per day seem like a selling point for Democrats and some particularly Republicans.

By the way, you must have missed a question: why did Biden suddenly taking interest in securing the border in the middle of 2024?

We are deporting more now, and we don’t need the bill

So Lankford says there would be a million less people let into the country if Trump didn't sink that bill and you say...nuh I don't need it.

You are a total idiot cultist and you prove it with your every post.

WRONG - limitation is encounters at the border, at which point ZERO aplications are accepted and everyone gets straight rejected/deported without any processing untill the border encounters get to managable levels again.

This compared to no limits on encounters under existing law that requires asylum aplication to be provided on request whereever encounter occurs.

He’s wrong, or he’s lying.

The bill did not require Biden to secure the border if more than 5K per day were walking in. It allowed the president to stop accepting asylum applications if the flow was over 5K per day for ten days.

Allowed.

Which means he would have also been allowed to keep letting them stream in as he did for the previous 3 years.

Again I ask: why did Biden take an interest in slowing down illegal immigration in the middle of 2024?

No, YOU are wrong:

...the bipartisan package that would grant the Homeland Security secretary emergency authority to prohibit entry for most individuals if an average of more than 4,000 people per day try to enter the country unlawfully over the course of a week. If the number reaches 5,000 or if 8,500 try to enter unlawfully in a single day, use of the authority would be mandatory.

All these numbers are OF COURSE much much much smaller than INFINITE encounters under existing law. This is without talking about all the other measures in the bill to speed up processing, deport people faster and catch more drugs.

Reason you are posting this false garbage? Someone shit them in your head to try to justify Trump sinking the bi-partisan Deport-More bill.

How?

We don't need it, arrest are up over 600%, border crossings are down over 90%

We didn't need it. We need a President that would simply enforce the law. Lankford drafted a bill, but that bill was not what the dems tried to advance, in fact he voted against it. Bipartisan border bill loses support, fails procedural vote in U.S. Senate • Oklahoma Voice

Bipartisan border bill loses support, fails procedural vote in U.S. Senate

Oklahoma Republican James Lankford, one of the deal’s original negotiators, voted against advancing it, protesting what he said was an unserious process focused on political optics.

border crossings are down over 90%
Shithead, I've explained to you three times already that this 90% number you are using is complete bullshit and this law would be in effect for a year before Trump would get into office, if he didn't sink it.

You can't refute it, yet keep using that number and pretending like 2024, a year before Trump ever set foot in the White House didn't happen.

What the fuck is wrong with you?

it's not bs just cause you don't like it.

Dummy there is nothing about conducting interior arrests that would be affected by deport-more border bill.

Trump could do whatever it is he is doing now as a President, entirely consistent with that law.

He is here for 4 years and then he is gone, meanwhile we could have had a law that would be in effect indefinetly.
