CBS News is Dead

You still believe in those fake national guard memos, you dumb donkey.

Lol!
AI is fun!

While the Killian documents themselves were proven to be fake and thus discredited as evidence, the broader question of Bush's military service record was more complex. Investigations and fact-checking efforts found that Bush did serve in the Texas Air National Guard, but there were questions about the completeness and timing of his service, including some gaps and whether he fulfilled all obligations on time.

Newly released records and fact-checking sources generally concluded that Bush met the minimum requirements for his service, though some critics argued about the nature and quality of that service.

With AI Rathar might not have done such a sloppy job but at least he earned himself the father of fake news.

CBS News is dying the slow death. Quality talent is leaving. Ideologues are taking over.

From my perspective, CBS was never really "news" to begin with (well ... maybe way back in the 60s & 70s). The entire legacy media including CNN, FOX, NBC, etc. are propaganda peddlers and social engineers. I agreed with Trump when he called them "fake news" but now Trump & Company are "fake news."

Want to hear real stories the legacy media won't discuss?:

CBS censorship under Bari Weiss and David Ellison.

The documents were fake. What they alleged was real and true.

Adorable that you left wing loons don't know what AI is.

Stories are “evaluated not just on their journalistic merit but on whether they conform to a shifting set of ideological expectations.”

So weird that for all the years that the set of ideological expectations met your personal expectations everything was perfect.

The problem is that CBS News is trying to be Fox News.

But Fox News has had 30 years to perfect this schtick of appealling to wingnuts.

The real problem is that all of our media is owned by five big corporations - Skydance Paramount (CBS), Comcast (NBC), Newscorp (Fox), Warner (CNN), and Disney (ABC).

The Movie Network predicted this 50 years ago, and here we are.

The issue is that Dan Blather got so excited thinking he would be the next Pulitzer Prize winner for bringing down a president that he didn't bother to do basic checking to see if the documents he was using were legitimate. He failed a very important journalistic requirement, which is to ensure your sources are accurate and trustworthy. Basically, he blew it and all the protests to the contrary fall by the roadside.

That has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the new owership being a surrogate of Trump.

You are regurgitating decades old propaganda.

It does, however, directly address the lame attempt to defend the big journalistic no-no.

Trump admin's threats appear to have backfired as Dem candidate gets 'very good news

President Donald Trump's administration may have elevated a Democratic Senate candidate by strong-arming CBS into calling off an interview with him, according to a new analysis.

Late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert told viewers that said CBS didn't air his interview Monday with Texas state Rep. James Talarico out of fear of regulatory action by the Federal Communications Commission, which the network denies, but CNN's Harry Enten said new data shows the administration's threat could have backfired.

"There's a real Barbra Streisand effect going on here," Enten said. "What are we talking about here? Well, take a look here on Google. Google searches for James Talarico in the U.S. up 4,900 percent today versus Monday. How about in Texas, where you have that key Senate race going on there – up like a rocket. We're talking about up 1,150 percent. So this has actually been very good news for James Talarico. You want that attention. You have that primary going on in a few weeks, and he's absolutely gotten it both nationwide and of course, very importantly in the state of Texas as well, the highest on record."

Colbert will go down fighting. All CBS did by getting down on knees for 47 was to create their own problems.

Colbert has NOT ceased attacking 47. His viewers love it. Karma is Cast Iron ***** for CBS right now. They put all this all this shit on themselves. Walter Cronkite would never have caved. Unlike the new propagandists at CBS, Cronkite would have spit in their eye.
