Political strategist and commentator James Carville blamed Vice President Kamala Harris' loss on her party's failure to distance itself from "woke era" politics.

Democrats endured a difficult string of defeats over the past few days, with Donald Trump securing a second term. Meanwhile, the GOP regained control of the Senate and now appears poised for a majority in the House of Representatives. Many from both sides of the aisle have since engaged in postmortems of Harris' campaign, attempting to put their finger on the factors that led to this shift.

Comment:
Carville is partly right.
But it's more than the just the ridiculous "woke" movement.
A lot of people are sick of the Democrat Party's greed, corruption, lying, hate, racism and violence.
The Democrat Party is far left, and they are attacking the people in the center.

Yawn. Just a couple of days ago he sounded as if he won the lottery, absolutely certain that Harris would not only win, but win in a landslide.

The economy and an open border ensured that you could run Abraham Lincoln and he would have a hard time defending these policies.

how is that different from maga?
greed, corruption, lying, hate, racism and violence.

(a cyber quarter: "its the economy, stupid, and we're all Eisenhower republicans now.")

As much as I can't stand Carville, he is right about one thing, it was a complete failure for the Harris campaign. He went on CNBC on Monday, and stated that Harris has a much better chance (than Hillary Clinton did in 2016), to beat Trump!

I just laughed so hard, I think I peed my pants.

When Election night rolled in, I think Carville was nowhere to be seen or heard. Whatever happened to his support throughout the night? Oh, right! That evaporated real quick when he and million leftists and Dems saw Harris going down - for the final count!

As I said Monday night (the night before the Election). It is the Super Bowl of Politics.

The Democratic Party is representing the Fringe, not the mainstream.

Well, it's not like Carville did not warn them time and again over the past couple months......Instead, the dems discounted the experienced dem "old white man", doubled down on all things bat-shit crazy without any moderation, and they paid the price.
