I STILL vividly remember that night to this day while watching this exact show of David Lettermans how she came on his show and performed this song that night and i was sooooo much smitten in love with her.

Man I wish i could get into a time machine and go back to that exact day and time be on Lettermans show and meet her that night, she was a drop dead gorgeous bombshell back then.😀 I LOVE her personality as well, she is so loveable you just want to hug her that night as i did back then.

the song sooo much gives me goosebumps its so touching. the thing thats strange though is none of her songs do ANYTHING for me,weird huh?

this music video of hers back then is really excellent as well.

She is one of my favorite female artists. Not many remember her these days.

If i had not been watching Letterman that night i would NEVER have known about her still to this day. evenflow1969 doesnt that just so much give you goosebumps and make you want to get into a time machine and go back and see her that night and get on the stage with her and give her a hug? you just to love her personality as well.

I just love Carole King. I know Tapestry by heart.

If you haven't seen 'Beautiful", you need to amend your bucket list.

well i listened to about 10 of her other songs and they just dont do ANYTHING for me.

Like i just asked him, dont you wish you could get into a time machine and be on david lettermans stage that night and give her a hug? she was so drop dead gorgeous back then and you just got to LOVE her personality.

I honestly don't know much about her other music. Her story is great and the play is all about her and how she got famous. The music in it is primarily Tapestry. Best play I ever saw.

Well I likely watched that night. Ya, her personality was awesome also. I think you are in to that eighties sound. I prefer her older stuff. I am old so that makes sense. I read a statistic that 80s music is the most listened to past decade. Not my cup of tea but guess I don't fit the norm on such issues. Not a whole lot of female artists on my play list but Carol is one of them.

Strange to see Carol King not sitting at a Piano. Great video ,thankyou. I was always a fan. Tapestry was the number one Album on the globe and maybe still is. I was always surprised to meet those not familiar with her and was glad to introduce them to her work.

Tapestry sold close to 39 million copies.

Enjoy! :)
