Yes, she lied, and Mike just lied in her defense.

No, she did not "lie." Given that she was speaking off the cuff in a debate with a matter of seconds to respond, her description of the video is reasonably accurate.

Although the video does not "show" an aborted baby with a beating heart, it does show a technician saying that one of the post-abortion babies she helped to harvest organs from had a beating heart just before her boss took his/her brain out.

What possible motive would that technician have had for lying about that? It is beyond lame to suggest that gee, just because she said it happened doesn't mean it happened. Why would she have made up that story, especially in that setting (speaking matter-of-factly and coldly to peers about something she had seen, and doing so with no knowledge that she was being video-taped)? Why? Why? Get real.

And the video does in fact show a post-abortion baby with its leg twitching.

The fact that the video that Carly saw was a combination of two videos does not change the facts that are shown. People edit videos all the time for brevity and clarity. Plus, the full versions are available on the pro-life group's website, if anyone cares to watch them.

What is so appalling is that you people seemingly couldn't care less that third-trimester babies--clearly viable babies--are being murdered and having their organs harvested and sold. Anyone who doesn't find that revolting does not deserve to be called a human being.
