Not the kind of news I like to read.

I'm a fearless guy who never loses hope and I try to be optimistic. It's probably not MS, but the signals are not positive compared to two years ago.

with an estimated 90,000 Canadians living with the disease. On average, 12 Canadians are diagnosed with MS every day. Most people are diagnosed with MS between the ages of 20 and 49 and the unpredictable effects of the disease will last for the rest of their lives.

MS is a neurological disease of the central nervous system which includes the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. It is considered an episodic disability meaning that the severity and duration of symptoms and disability can vary. It can also be progressive.

The disease attacks myelin, the protective covering of the nerves, causing inflammation and often damaging the myelin. Myelin is necessary for the transmission of nerve impulses through nerve fibres. If damage to myelin is slight, nerve impulses travel with minor interruptions; however, if damage is substantial and if scar tissue replaces the myelin, nerve impulses may be completely disrupted, and the nerve fibres themselves can be damaged.

A friend of mine died in 2019, and he suffered from MS during the last 25 years of his life, dying at the age of 63.

Its fortunate he lived so long, I attribute to his picking up the cigarette habit after diagnosis. He smoked a pack a day of Lucky Strikes and it helped to extend his lifespan. Before he got his diagnosis, he was strictly "straight edge" and wouldn't touch a cigarette.

I know I been razzing ya about Canada .. in reality Canada is a beautiful country ,with very nice people .. sad to hear of such a high rate of MS .. hopefully the Canadian people will one day break the shackles applied by their leftist leaders ..

I wonder if it has something to do with vaccines?
MS is a deadly disease. Very sad.

The “Shackles of the leftist leaders” have made Canada one of the best and most free countries in the world to live in.

Your country doesn’t even make the top 20 anymore.

What did he capitulate on? The surcharge that Forf never would’ve have applied if Trump hadn’t put tariffs on?

Every time somebody stands up to your idiot, president, the lying bully immediately backs off, and then claims victory.

There was never any 50% tariff. Trump signed nothing. Tweets aren’t policy. Trump announced his tariff via social media, so that when he backed off he could claim victory.

Trump lies and you swallow the bait whole every single time.

Perhaps some vaccine given to all young children is what I'm saying.

What the lying moron failed to tell you is that United States and Germany are the two countries which have higher rates of MS than Canada. Oops.

the tariffs already placed on Can'tada on March 4 are still ongoing .. Can'tada threatened to tariff electricity and Trump announced he would be slapping a 50 % Tariff on Can'tadian metals ! Can'tada backed down ! another win for the good guys ! :banana:MAGA !

Higher rates of diseases like MS in developed countries can be misleading.

A large part of the seemingly higher rates can be attributed to higher screening, higher access to diagnostic testing and primary care and higher life expectancies in developed world as compared to third world.

People in undeveloped countries don’t have access to the care that would diagnose such things, and they’re far more likely to die before the disease would significantly progress

The tariffs on March 4 had been postponed until April 2. Please try to keep up.

but they are still in place commie .. however we do expect y'all to capitulate and stop ripping off our great nation so yall can fund your stupid socialist programs .. Americans are tired of subsidizing pathetic countries .. y'all will drop your high unfair tariffs on American goods that y'all have been profiting from for decades or Can'tada will face economic pain !
