I read, but chose to respond on the assisted suicide issue, the OP said, she applied for. I do not have a dog in Canada's healthcare system problems, shortcomings, strengths, availability or processes. But, the assisted suicide decision is one that his definitely coming to America, taken up is at least 12 states, so far.
Probably from personal experience, I'm sure. I was told, she has no passport, and we are arresting people without proper paper work, sometimes even with it, sometimes even born here American Citizens. If she chooses to make arrangements with government to come here, I simply hope she isn't bothered by ICE on the way in or the way out. If Beck wants to pay doctors to fly there, that is fine by me, also, and would take unidentified masked gunmen in unmarked SUVs out of the problem.
