Called one of the few companies that offer private MRI services. We have to pay them directly out of pocket. But there's a catch...

Someone, any one who understands the free market explain to me please.

I found a company in Canada where I pay for my MRI out of pocket. I am told I still require a requisite from a doctor.

Does this make any sense to anyone when I live in a Universal Health System (in name only)?

Someone, any one who understands the free market explain to me please. What's to explain? The private companies screen their customers in much the same way as the free public system.

Of course. They can't tie up their equipment on frivolous claims. Get the required requisition from a doctor, The private company won't be partially reimbursed by government if it accepts less than serious patients.

Why are all doctors refusing you?
