Again, it is the left that wants to hinder free speech and puts politics ahead of pragmatism. Several commissioners that voted for rejecting future launches mentioned Elon Musk’s politics when discussing the vote and some of the potential reasoning behind the rejection. This is the face of the Democratic Party. They ONLY care about politics. They are very dangerous. Democrats, don’t kid yourselves, If Elon was a good little billionaire lemming, they could launch as many rockets as they pleased in California.
Below are two articles and both are intentionally from left-leaning sources. I did notice the further left leaning sources like the NYT, tried to downplay the political reasoning and didn’t include the cited political differences in their titles. Go figure.
"We're dealing with a company, the head of which has aggressively injected himself into the presidential race," said Commissioner Chair Caryl Hart.
"This company is owned by the richest person in the world with direct control of what could be the most expansive communications system in the planet," said Commissioner Mike Wilson. "Just last week that person was talking about political retribution."
“I really appreciate the work of the Space Force,” said Commission Chair Caryl Hart. “But here we’re dealing with a company, the head of which has aggressively injected himself into the presidential race and he’s managed a company in a way that was just described by Commissioner Newsom that I find to be very disturbing.”
