I do believe the FEDs should have warrants to go into these areas. IMHO they should be thought of as scared places. And that way there can be no legal challenges. Churchs, Recovery programs and things of that nature also.

The California State Senate passed several bills between Monday and Tuesday calling for severe restrictions on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents’ ability to make arrests at schools, hospitals and shelters. All bills now head to the California State Assembly where, like its counterpart in the upper chamber, Democratic lawmakers.

Just days after President Donald Trump’s re-election victory, the Los Angeles City Council passed an ordinance officially designating Los Angeles as a “sanctuary city,” a move that restricts local authorities from helping federal immigration authorities. In December, the Democrat-controlled San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted to double down on its local anti-ICE policies with an ordinance that has since been dubbed a “super sanctuary” law by opponents.

The Trump administration has fought back against the sanctuary policies ushered in California and elsewhere. Trump in April signed an executive order directing the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify sanctuary jurisdictions and apply federal funding cuts and wage lawsuits where necessary.

I think it's too late. They've already deployed the National Guard and there's talk of using the Marines.

If the left had wanted anything but what they're getting now, they would have started acting like adults years ago.

This situation puts me in mind of something I read in a "comments" section of a YouTube video a few months ago --

"They told us there can be no peace between us, then act surprised when we act like there can be no peace between us."

But thanks for your thoughtful post.

I don't know if it is a good idea to bring in anyone but the Guard...since this is thier mission and what they train for. Jarheads train to kill...I don't think we are ready for that yet !

I would love to see the NG go on a rampage and start splitting heads open after thier Commander and First Sgt were knocked down.

The enlisted could say We misunderstood our orders. The LIBs and thier 24-7 news would really pee thier pants.

Sanctuary cities should be defunded.

Notably, President Trump has not yet invoked the Insurrection Act in LA. He could still do that. But for now, the NG can't participate in law enforcement, they can only protect resources.

Point 1: Agreed !

Point 2: If the protestors attack the NG I would like to see OMB declare martial law. I am interested in things like that so I have read up on it. When martial law is declared LEO s do need search warrants among alot of other things. Will out looking...I believe the GOV can stop all alcohol sales, shut down roads and close gun shops.

Point 3: GREAT POST !

They would be unconstitutional. Thr supremacy clause and federal court orders trump any state law

/—-/ If the police are chasing a fleeing knowing criminal they don’t need a warrant to catch them. Same with ICE.

In the middle of a funeral ?

Don't get me wrong I want the hardcore illegals to go first and that should keep the FEDs bust long enough.
I would be furious if an arrest was made at a funeral for a friend or family member.

Furious at the criminal who caused it by attending a funeral knowing they were a lawbreaker subject to arrest.

.

Someone who would invade another country illegally doesn't have the right to the luxury of being able to do any of the things that citizens do, including attending a funeral.
