Is there something in the water in the people's republic of California? Judge Patricia Cookson sentenced a convicted murderer to 53 years to life and then cleared the court of all but the defendant's supporters and presided in the convicted murderer's marriage. If that wasn't insulting enough the judge presented the happy couple with a cake she had baked herself.

Weird, a judge sentences a murderer to 53 years-life in jail and a winger conservative is upset she presided over his marriage and baked a cake.

Then took this parting shot a CA..."Is there something in the water in the people's republic of California?"

So what is it that you're upset about? The sentence or the cake? I suggest getting your priorities in order.

The radical left seems to care about everyone except the victims of horrible crimes. The family of the murder victim is demanding an apology from the judge for the intentional disrespect for the victim and the justice system. The governor is probably too stoned to pay attention.
