Buyer Beware when buying "historical" items

LOL....The other day I was at the gun shop (specializes in older weapons and such) and this guy comes in with a shadow box with a chunk of wood in it and tries to sell what he claimed was a chunk of wood from the Dunker Church.

Looked like a old chunk of wood with a bit of whitewash on it to me.....It was all we could do not to laugh him out of the place but he's a regular that spends a lot on money there so we refrained and laughed after he left. ;)

You have to be really careful these days when going to buy historical items.
