The law “On Family Values and Protection of Minors” prohibiting LGBT propaganda* entered into force in Georgia today.

It has been the subject of criticism from the EU, which says that the the law “does not comply with European values” and calls for its repeal so that Georgia can return to the path of European integration.
At the same time, the country's authorities have repeatedly emphasized that they will not do so, as no one needs EU membership that relies on LGBT* propaganda.
