BREAKING: One Big Beautiful Bill Passes House, On Way to Trump's Desk

They should have called it The Big Blue Wave Act. The GOP is so going to pay a price for it in the midterms. I now expect the Dems to take back both houses.
Well as long as you expected it, it must be true

Lower tax brackets got bigger cuts
Most households — about 85 percent — would get a tax cut in 2026, according to an analysis from the Tax Policy Center. But while many of the bill’s changes are permanent, other provisions, such as the new deduction for seniors, are set to expire within a couple years. The center estimates that by 2030 only about 70 percent of households would continue to have a tax break.

The center also estimates that nearly 60 percent of the tax benefits would go to those in the top quintile of annual incomes (about $217,000 or more). Those households would receive an average tax cut of $12,500.

Because the rich pay more, you dufus!

The middle and working classes are having their taxes reduced by a greater percentage than the rich.

Yay! The party of fiscal responsibility adds another $3.3 trillion to the debt so Trump can give himself another multi-million dollar tax cut!

"Yeahbut...he donates his salary..."
When Trump was President the first term - the federal government took in record revenue.
Despite the tax cuts

This argument is endless. Pros and cons. When you come to power again put your actions where your mouth is. Tax the rich through the wazoo and end all of this. Then we will see what will happen. Rich individuals and corporations at massive rates.

20% of Overtime deduction at the end of year is a big ******* deduction.

Of course oil and gas, and construction can be 50% of income, but still good shot at a very large deduction.

Hmm, the jubilation over this isn't quite as fervent as I thought it would be.
