The US economy added 147,00 nonfarm payrolls in June, more than the 106,000 expected by economists. The unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 4.1%. Economists had expected the unemployment rate to move higher to 4.3%.

There is usually a bunch of hiring around June by local .gov for summer type work. They lay them off around the end of September, at least in my town.

Our local semi-pro Valley League baseball team is usually hired by the town to cut grass and such.
