What MSNBC and CNN do in the future is a curiosity kind of thing. The are so far from actual news there is really no turning back. Will they become sports stations, weather stations, "comedy" stations, who knows. No rational person considers them journalists though and it is great The White House is doing what it can to stop their propaganda.

Imho. CNN tanked when founder Ted Turner was forced out. With Ted at the helm they were center-left, but after his ouster they went far left. They slobbered all over Obama and when Hilary announced her candidacy they went batshit crazy about her.

During the campaigns they hammered all Republicans, but especially Trump, and after he won the election they totally went off the deep end. I believe that in their ivory towers they plotted his demise. They decided that they would report anything and everything that even hinted at hurting Trump, facts and corroboration be damned.

Their ratings have risen slightly of late while Fox has fallen a bit. I blame Fox losing shares is primarily due to their recent primetime shake up.

Tucker Carlson is great as a Right-centric O'Reilly, but putting The Five on at 9:00pm doesn't work. With their loss of Bill O'Reiilly and Megan Kelly they are struggling because both were shakers and movers in news commentary and interviews. Bill, being an east coast moderate; and Megan, being more of an Independent, drew a large swath of viewers.
