BP Union Calls For Noem Ouster

Not getting rid of Trump, until 2028 election. Getting rid of Noem and Miller are good doable steps, in the meantime.
Miller and Noem are remaining in the Trump administration.

Maybe, maybe not. Will have to wait and see. Trump would be better off, without them, in my opinion, as well as many others holding the same opining.

Even the Border Patrol understand how fucked up things have gotten.

Unfortunately they think the reason is Noem. It’s not. It’s Trump and the Stephen Miller types he has surrounded himself with.

These are the same hackers who said we needed the stupid "Border Bill" to secure the border under Biden, right?

Trump is not going to give the democrats a scalp...NFW.

You mean another one?:auiqs.jpg: Bovino is OUT. She did tell the same outright boldface lies, he did.

I expect Trump to dig in

He won in 2024 mostly on his Immigration Platform
Voters are seeing a platform that involves invading our cities, beating protesters and shooting citizens

Not what we asked for

Republicans are getting scared

That's an interesting way of putting the act of relieving someone of their duties who is not just unqualified but an inveterate liar as well.

House Democrats tell Trump to fire DHS chief Noem or they will start impeachment proceedings against her

Voters still want illegals deported. The MSM can glorify protesters and demonize ICE, but when push comes to shove voters know who had open borders and who closed the border and is deporting illegals.
Not what we asked for

Those two deaths, Good and Pretti, were not good publicity for the Trump admin, like the amazing Maduro capture was.
Tom Homan is a tough cop who knows where the line is between tough, legal, policing and brutality.
I expect that Trump learned, at least I hope he is learning, how to do deportations without the bad publicity.
Never give the MSM material to beat you over the head with.

Chief Minnesota judge orders acting head of ICE to appear in court to explain himself

Minnesota’s chief federal trial judge has had it with the Trump administration’s immigration officials.

“The Court’s patience is at an end,” Chief U.S. District Judge Patrick Schiltz wrote in an order Monday.

The three-page filing is remarkable both for the government lawlessness it calls out and for how routine that lawlessness has become in Donald Trump’s second term. The reality reached a breaking point for the judge, who clerked for conservative icon Antonin Scalia and was appointed to the bench by George W. Bush.

It led the judge to take the admittedly “extraordinary step” of ordering Todd Lyons, the acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, to appear personally at a hearing Friday to explain why he shouldn’t be held in contempt.

The order came in a case in which the government had failed to provide a bond hearing or to release a person from custody as it had been ordered to do.

Once again the law is coming for a member of the regime.

Ok, so what? What can the judge do? Not much.

Bovino did not get fired, nor is a member of the cabinet. Not a scalp.
Shooting and crazed statements on the victim by him on Saturday and simply chose to leave his position on Sunday. :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg: :auiqs.jpg:

You ask what can the judge do to stop the regime's abuses? I ask why don't you care about the abuses?

Schiltz explained that the issue extends far beyond this single case, noting that it was “one of dozens of court orders” with which the government has failed to comply in recent weeks.

He wrote that he had been “extremely patient” with officials, even though they “decided to send thousands of agents to Minnesota to detain aliens without making any provision for dealing with the hundreds of habeas petitions and other lawsuits that were sure to result.” He wrote that officials “have continually assured the Court that they recognize their obligation to comply with Court orders, and that they have taken steps to ensure that those orders will be honored going forward.”

“Unfortunately, though, the violations continue,” Schiltz wrote.

LIAR. WE ALL KNOW THE BORDER WAS WIDE OPEN
During Biden about 250,000 illegals a month on average entered the US, that is about 12 million over 4-years

As always, the facts are not your friend.

As the Biden administration grapples with the soaring number of migrants and asylum-seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border, conservative pundits and politicians have upped accusations that some Democrats support "open border" policies.

The big picture: By using the term "open border," conservatives — including Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, who is seeking the role of House speaker — are suggesting that anyone can get into the U.S. without much hassle. But the reality is that the southern border is more fortified than it's ever been.

Reality check: Since 1992, the U.S. has quadrupled the number of Border Patrol agents — from less than 5,000 to nearly 20,000 today.

  • Barriers, walls, and fences have been erected along portions of the 1,951-mile U.S.-Mexico border, in addition to new Border Patrol outposts and high-tech surveillance systems.
  • The Border Patrol regularly breaks border arrest records, highlighting the difficulty of entering the country illegally.
  • Most recently, Biden decided to go forward with a border wall in South Texas.
  • Lines at ports of entry have gotten longer because of new requirements to enter the U.S., putting pressure to expand hours at newer ports of entry like the one in Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

On Immigration, the G.O.P. Finds Itself in a Shocking Place: On Defense

Two killings by federal agents on the icy streets of Minneapolis have suddenly turned the politics of immigration upside down.

Republicans, led by a president who rose to power with promises to build a Southern border wall and carry out mass deportations, are now trying to dodge an issue that polls had long shown to be a strength for them.

Democrats, who have for years tried to change the political subject to health care or abortion rights, are now racing to talk about immigration and harness their voters’ rage over the fatal shootings in Minnesota.

The shift could be fleeting. American politics has rarely felt so unsettled and unpredictable, with President Trump just as responsive to television coverage as to on-the-ground realities. On Monday, he shook up the leadership of his immigration crackdown in Minnesota and seemed inclined to try to calm tensions, at least for now.

Leave it to Dotard and the domestic terrorist Stephen Miller to take a strength and turn it in to a liability.

It’s against that backdrop that the judge ordered Lyons to appear personally to explain why he shouldn’t be held in contempt of court. Schiltz acknowledged that doing so is an “extraordinary step,” but said that “the extent of ICE’s violation of court orders is likewise extraordinary, and lesser measures have been tried and failed.” The judge noted that he’d cancel the Friday hearing if the government releases the person in question from custody by then.

The lawlessness of the regime is historic in nature and unprecedented in its scope..
