I don't know what you guys do in Boy Scouts, but that's not really what I was getting at, physically competing with boys. It's just a more relaxed atmosphere without boys there. Nothing wrong with co-ed education and co-ed most everything else, but I don't see anything wrong with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. I do hope the Girl Scouts are branching out more from the domestic skills they focused on when I was a lass. But we don't need to make the Scouts co-ed.

I meant that two ways. Both figuratively in direct competition and socially as well. If the sexes are to be forced together, it is contingent on them to see to it it doesn't work. When I was a kid and a girl tried to bully me, I gave it back to her just as much plus one measure more. Once a girl commits to play on the same playing field as boys, then she must necessarily be subjected to the same rules as would apply to boys as well, and boys will punch you in the face, kick you, bite you, trip you, do whatever it takes to beat you and win. That's not an indictment, that is the essence of the competitive spirit, and carried forward, is how we win wars. You win battles in life by committing to doing whatever is necessary to win. If girls cannot face up to that, they should stay in the girl scouts and bake cookies. We might not like to admit that and given the option, play fairly if possible, but ultimately in war, business or life, the lesson of the world is if you don't commit to the same rules as your opponent, and your opponent is willing to go low and dirty, then you either do too or you will lose. Europe is a prime example of a civilization that has lost the path to staying a winner. Follow Europe as our example and we doom America to eventual collapse and irrelevance as well. Whatever the "Scouts" do with our boys now, I want them to raise them and prepare them to be Leaders and Winners in the future world, not idealistic politically correct dreamers.

As far as behavior goes, there are far more differences within the sexes than between the sexes. Physically, yes, there are differences but behavior wise, you will find quiet, introspective boys who hate killing creatures just as you will among the girls. I fear you are dealing in macho and little miss stereotypes that were never accurate and never will be. Here in Maine, a woman could and would kick your ass just as fast any guy at the bar. They definitely do whatever work is required when a man isn't around. Men working in the woods and out on the water leave their fair damsels to cope with a lot. And they do.
