The media could have always been a big part of closing the border, reporting all the worse things possible to discourage people from coming here illegally. Instead, they always promoted things like where the holes are in border security and all the perks you get from coming here and how democrats will help them in every way possible. Trump has forced their hand by making the media report all the worst stuff possible, which is a big deterrent.

Trying to dampen the credit that is due Trump and Homan? This chart is meaningless, given it does not specify what the values are other than date and encounters. What is it per day, as the OP charts shows?

December looks to be 100k people which equates to 3225 per days.

That is nearly twice what it was at its peak in January on the 19th. The time after Jan 20 is 1/4 that value.

Correct. It dropped significantly after Jan 2024, just as the chart shows.

No. Joe screwed it up in the first place, and the only reason (in my opinion) it dropped significantly starting late January of 2024, was because it was an election year, and the handlers wanted Joe to have a chance in hell.

I talked with my BP friend who is now working out of El Paso. TX and he said Homan has ordered a full court press.

The guys there said they have not seen it as quiet in many years......They can now spend their time going after those who try to sneak in instead of processing family units 12 hours a day.

I asked about when they were going to resume transport hub (train/bus station) checks and he said BP/ICE combined teams are already doing them and they will be scaling them up even more in the coming quarter as manpower is trained/freed up due to real .mil help.....He said they ain't no joke.

I asked about the cartels being declared terrorists and he said a whole new raft of directives will be coming down shortly on what to do with them.....It won't go well for the cartel members caught.....Possibly they will be taken out of the country and held.

He thinks the cartels will rely more on mules now than over the past four years when they would cross with impunity.

That's a good thing. And since we've seen some photos of migrants headed south, maybe a lot more are leaving voluntarily than are headed north now.
