He's the loudest loud-mouth law enforcement official I can recall like...ever. Most people in his capacity - local, state, federal - would just shut the **** up and investigate whatever it is they're investigating. You talk when you can actually, you know, share what you've turned over to prosecutors, and even then, it's best not to talk until the convictions are in hand. Because any half-wit prosecutor would think you're going to **** up an investigation and potential conviction otherwise.

Of course all of that only matters if you think there's actually a criminal case to jeopardize in the first place (hint: your first clue that there isn't).
