My work sometimes plunges me into the dark depths of black America, where I get to observe and study their culture. I dare say that I am more familiar with real black culture than any person here claiming to be black. Let me tell you about my lunch today.
This afternoon I went to Chic-Fil-A. I always go through the drive through there so I can subject this particularly cute college chick to my creepy, old-lecherous-man sexual advances. After giving “Jenny” my order, and watching her cute butt wiggling away, I noticed it was taking a while for the line to move. When it finally did, I saw that halfway to the pickup window one of the order takers was still carside and tapping on her pad. The order taker usually does not move past the order taking station.
So, I am sitting there in my car waiting. Why would anyone go through a drive-thru and give a lengthy, complex order that takes THIS long to take down?!? How ******* absurd!! Just tell the chick you want a chicken sandwich and a coke and move out of the way!
Then, before the line of cars makes a left turn to approach the pick up area, I say to myself: “the customer is probably a black woman”.
See, black women generally, and some black men, falsely believe that because a few other black people completely unrelated to them were forced into servitude a couple hundred years ago, they are entitled to reparations today. Of course, this is utterly ridiculous. So, they choose to “heal” themselves by being total dicks to young white people in the service industry. Apparently, it does not even occur to them that this makes them look petty and cucked.
So, the mystery customer FINALLY completes her order and then sticks her arm out the window with a credit card. Bingo! I was correct on both counts. It was, in fact, a black woman. I could not, at that moment, tell what kind of car she was driving. But I took an educated guess: a Lexus. She then made the left turn. Bingo! Lexus. I was again confirmed as a scholar emeritus of American black studies.
Why do black adults drive so many Lexus? I will tell you. The first reason is utilitarian. Lexus has a very large leasing program that enables many people to acquire one of these automobiles even if their credit sucks. Secondly, black people are tribal and have a need to demonstrate to everyone else how impotent (I.e., important) they are (I.e., how they think they deserve to be perceived).
Black culture is all about power. The power centers are church (pastors, reverends, “bishops”, etc…), professionals (doctors, lawyers), politicians, and Big Daddies (the ones in the community who can deliver votes and otherwise fix things).
In the black community, if one holds a position deserving of respect, he or she must let everyone know. The process of doing this (publicizing your power) is called “representing”. For example, “Hey, man, why you drive dat big, crazy Mercedes??”… “Yo, yo, yo, Homeboy! I gots to represent, ya know what I mean???”
I am like a surgeon when it comes to dissecting the black community. I know what makes them tick. I could literally write a book on them. Unfortunately, the left beat me to it. They have been studying black culture for generations so they could put blacks into political servitude. In case you have not noticed, the left has been quite successful in this endeavor.
So, in order to properly “represent”, the powered-up black person must display the indicia appropriate to his or her station. One of the most important (“impotent”) ways to do this is by choosing the right car. For blacks this means the following brands: Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Caddy Escalade, and Nisssn Armada.
I stress that the importance is placed on brand, and not model. For example, you will see many BMW 300 series being driven by blacks. But you never see, for example, an M series. Likewise, you see lots of Mercedes driven by them, but never an AMG. Instead of performance, they are only interested in shallow brand recognition.
At this point you are probably wondering what the deal is with black people and Dodge Chargers/Challengers. I will briefly address this. See, all young people like fast, cool cars. It assists them in getting girls. If you can lure a hot girl into your car, then you can close the door and take off, essentially trapping her in your control!! This is not a black thing. It is just a young guy thing.
Challengers and chargers are relatively cheap and easy to finance with many sub-prime lenders. You don’t lease them because the accelerated depreciation on these shitters creates too much of a risk for the lender.
Further, you only see the lower-end versions of these cars. Black dudes do not drive Hellcats or Demons. The performance models are WAY out of their price range.
After the blacks outgrow their shitty cars, but before they get to the point of “representing”, they drive Chevy Malibus and anything Kia and Hyundai. Again, these cars are easy to finance. The more sophisticated of the bunch will branch out into smarter choices, such as Toyota and Nissan. Really, this tier of black person buys similar to middle class white people, save for the Chevy cars.
What about pickup trucks? LOL! For blacks, it is 6 cyl Dodge Ram 1500s all day! Rams are far easier to finance than Chevy and Ford. They may go to the car lot intending to purchase an F150, but when they leave the lot they are drive a Ram! LOL!!! My late father referred to Rams as “goat wagons”. Dad and I ultimately had a falling out when I went all in on Ford trucks. He was a lifelong Chevy guy.
We all love our cars. We spend a lot of time in our cars, driving around, listening to music, thinking about things, getting hummers, and whacking off. But culturally, in the black community, cars are also used as badges to tell the world how impotent (important) you are. It is not “bad” or “good”. It is just different.
I know why I drive my little red sports car: because it is fun as hell to drive! Personally, I do not care to conform to preconceived notions and prejudices. That is based in collectivism and not individualism. I remain quite sensitive to this distinction, even at my age. “People” are never free. Only an individual can truly feel freedom. To me, buying an ass-ugly Lexus because I feel like I need to “represent” feels soulless and conformist.
