This is not about the DNC or GOP playing hardball. The media is not supposed to be a willing participant of partisan politics, and they are.

For the same media that paid almost no attention to Obama's religion or church in 2008, and even claimed racism for doing so, to now do hit pieces on Mormonism is a disgusting display for blatant bias and hypocrisy.

Again, Romney is not going to have to disown or distance himself from his faith, and he would never do so. Like his own white grandmother, Obama disowned his Rev Wright and has not been back to the Trinity United Church.

Regardless, the media still has never explored the doctrines or beliefs of Obama's church.
