My point is that it would be 'humane' to REALLY close the border, tell all of these nations / people that they will be turned away if they come so don't bother, and returning all of these kids to their parents. It would be more humane to declare the Cartels a direct threat to the US and declare war on them. Drone strikes, a couple of TLAMS, Spec Ops patrolling the border, coordinate with several nations to freeze / seize their bank accounts.......

The Cartels assassinate politicians and cops in Mexico, so I doubt they would have a problem with us taking down the Cartels a few notches.
