U.S. tech giants have joined the call for investing in U.S. microchip producers. The CHIPS for America Act seeks $50 billion in aid for domestic chip manufacturing.
In other words, he wants to further run up the debt by giving $50 billion to some of the wealthiest companies in the country, the same companies which sent the their microchip production overseas to begin with.
