Nah, I look at the total cost of building the institutions, property taxes on the institutions, energy costs, electricity, heat, water, food, healthcare, clothing, upkeep and maintenance, and salaries for the guards, employees, computer sytstems, televisions, doctors, etc. Between direct and indirect costs, it could be costing the state up to $240,000/year in order to house, keep and care for each prisoner.
