My side is the Reform Party.
We have a Reform Party here too but our winner-take-all system means they have no real influence after an election and little before.
So how did my side "do enough" for democracy?
MAGAs on this side of the pond (didn't notice you were not over here) have done their best to undermine our entire democratic system. My actual quote was "do enough TO democracy". They have done nothing FOR democracy.
The US is a Republic with a splash of Representative Democracy. Representative democracy is a form of government where citizens elect representatives to make decisions on their behalf.
Which representatives did MAGAs stop being elected? You will find it was the Democrats that tried to keep an opponent of the ballot, and tried to jail him.

Trump ran in that ticket in 2000.
The election was challenged, many, many time and the result was always the same, no evidence.
I never heard that the Jan 6 insurrection/riot was ever debunked by the FBI. Got a link?
There are laws against criminals running for office. This country used to respect the law.

Seems more like a difference in semantics. I guess it was just coincidence that a large crowd just happened to gather together, sent by the President. Why they brought a guillotine and chanted "Hang Mike Pence" no one knows.

When does a violent riot become an insurrection?
